ZEBRA Goal
To establish strategically placed meetings where likeminded South Africans may gather to assist each other in building and developing business together.
Through this endeavour we seek more to see what we can put in than what we can take out.

Why The ZEBRA
No animal has a more distinctive coat than the zebra. Each animal's stripes are as unique as fingerprints-no two are exactly alike-although each of the three species has its own general pattern.
Zebras are social animals that spend time in herds. They graze together and even groom one another.

These units may combine with others to form awe-inspiring herds thousands of head strong packs. Family members will remain close within the herd. A herd has many eyes alert to danger. If an animal is attacked, its family will come to its defence, circling the wounded zebra and attempting to drive off predators. They are fiercely loyal.

South Africans are known for their hard working ethic, their hospitality, directness and their ability to initiate.
When finding one self in a foreign land with very little support it is vital that connection is implemented. The networking ethos becomes integral in the development and building of people, their businesses and thus their lives.

With the official figure of 1,800,000 South Africans living and working in the UK, what better way than to connect them to each other through a business network that caters for that express purpose
Would it not be advantageous that the well earned pound is used to finance other likeminded fellow countrymen?

ZEBRA Vision - Way Forward

South Africans ‘go getter’ attitudes have won them favour in many business arena's and the many skills that they have had to adopt by living in the open, free environment of their country has stood them in good stead in many situations.
Moving country and adapting to totally new experiences can be daunting in its process, let alone establishing businesses and making a difference in the country.
The whole process can be less threatening if support and a helping hand were available. ZEBRA aims to be a catalyst in this process.

ZEBRA Game Plan
ZEBRAconnect has been running for a little over seven months- each meeting has been more interesting than the previous one with many exciting testimonies of business triumphs and great connections happening

Our “Watering Hole event” is held at Warren House and is well attended by great team players
At each event all the attendees are offered the opportunity to become part of the future development of ZEBRA to expand and extend the initiative into other areas throughout the UK where there are high concentrations of South Africans.
It is the intention to franchise similar events wherever the population determines the need.
Initially SW, SE NW & NE will be targeted with two annual events scheduled centrally where useful and interesting training and support will be offered and implemented.
